It’s interesting how different my experience each year during the International Folk Art Market. This time I sadly declined the IFAA invitation to work for them, as I did not plan to be in Santa Fe last summer. But as it happen in life chance brought me to the capital of New Mexico state exactly at the time of the Market, so I had this great opportunity to photograph it again.

There were number of craftsmen and craftswomen whom I new from my previous Folk Art Market years. It was a pleasure to stop and talk to them, asking what’s changed in their lives during the year. I like sending them all photos from the market each time, so they remember me well. Few artisans even asked me to make a series of market images for their portfolio websites, and I was happy to help them.

Enjoy this colorful event through images.
